Le Domaine L'Orangeraie, La Digue, Seychelles

Why we love it
La Digue is relaxed, small and there are almost no cars - just hundreds of bicycles. We loved this 4 star hotel as its situated right at the point near where the ferry arrives and has a lovely deck overlooking the bay. It has a great snorkel spot right off their jetty, however we didnt get the chance to test it out. The accommodation is varied with garden and hillside villas and it has a stunning spa up on the hill. The guests gather at sunset on the wide deck and enjoy sun downers while in the pool.

Four Seasons Resort, Mahe, Seychelles

Four Seasons Resort, Mahe, Seychelles

Why we love it
Perched up on the hill overlooking a calm private cove with the bluest water, this collection of Villas was a favourite for us. With the signature great service expected of a Four Seasons Hotel, it was also authentically friendly and relaxed. Best thing is the snorkeling right off the beach along the granite fringe, which is superb!

Constance Ephelia, Mahe, Seychelles

Constance Ephelia, Mahe, Seychelles

Why we love it
Spanning two calm beaches ( North and South beach) on a headland and butting on to a wetland with mangrove forests, the resort offers diversity for visitors. You are not locked in to one beach, and there are lovely hikes. We loved the zip-lining and rock climbing in the forest and the villas on the hill that seem to hover over the bay. We also loved the different restaurants, and the relaxed outdoor dining. Its fun to ride a bike around the resort as its spread out and there is heaps to do and see.

Banyan Tree Villas, Mahe, Seychelles

Why we love it:
Banyan Tree feels so much smaller and more intimate than the other resorts. It is one of the few resorts that has villas that are directly on the beach. We loved that you can walk out of your villa on to the soft white sand. The beach is gorgeous, and feels entirely private. We loved the forest and wetland areas in the resort and the Saffron Thai-style restaurant is incredible. Best meal we had in Seychelles. They offer destination dining for romantic couples looking to eat alone.

Beach Villa. Desroches Island. Seychelles

Why we love it

Desroches is an exquisite island in the Seychelles Amirantes Archipelago with 14 kilometres of snow white beaches and surrounded by seas that offer some of the best diving and fishing in the world. Privacy, exclusivity and isolation are the greatest attractions at Desroches. Enjoy morning swims with hawks bill turtles and reef fishes and wonderful island hospitality.
