Malawi is a place of warm water and exceedingly warm hearted people. There are some that say that Lake Malawi is Africa's greatest gift. The gin-clear inland sea is more than 270 kilometres long and is a snorkellers dream with myriad endemic chiclid fishes and fascinating islands to explore. Many use the Lake as a place to rinse off the dust and enjoy some relaxation after a safari to South Luangwa in nearby Zambia. Malawi also has its own game reserves such as Liwonde, and the fascinating Nyika Plateau to explore.
